Shift4 Checkout - how it works?

When User shops online on a website which has Shift4 Checkout enabled, Shift4 will ask to remember you. After the User agrees, Shift4 will store certain information like: password, email address, or your mobile phone number, and User’s payment details. This is very convenient for the User and it will make your payment experience much easier and faster not only if the User comes back to the same website but also on any other website which has Shift4 Checkout functionality enabled.

Shift4 Task.

Shift4 Checkout will store User payment information. User is ultimately responsible for the purchases made via Shift4 Checkout. Merchant is responsible for providing to the User the products or services which User buys using Shift4 Checkout, not Shift4. Shift4 will use our reasonable efforts to keep your Payment Credentials secure.

Making Changes.

User willing to delete card credentials or stop storing payment information via Shift4 Checkout, can send an email to [email protected] or click "My Account" link in the email received from Shift4 during registration.

Representations.

By using Shift4 Checkout User represents and states that User is at least 18 years of age and will not use Shift4 Checkout for any fraudulent and unlawful activites.

Governing Law

Miscellaneous

Shift4 failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms and Conditions will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms and Conditions shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and remain enforceable between the parties.
